Hydraulic assist machines, sometimes called semi-automatic, are typically used for larger diameter, thicker stock where it is either difficult or impossible to lay the material onto the chuck with the traditional scissor tool method. Prism purchases well known European built machines like Leifeld frames and restores them to new condition, with hydraulics and electrics as required. Custom adaptation of machining cylinders, tracer valves and tooling are all possible. If product drawings are supplied we can make recommendations on machine setup.
